Lowdhams says about 15 waiting for delivery.Hope to have it for stratford show.Ordered it at the G mex show in january

A few hundred pounds? My mate has one on order and they are offering more than that, i beleive it is the cost of the front cab window which is around the £700 mark...both myself and him consider that to be good under the circumstances, i think getting it in time for the show is obtimistic though.

I know the vans are due in the 2 next weeks or so but with the way things are these days i think you ought to be antisipating another 2 weeks to ensure the vehicle is prepped properly and also i know taxing can take up to 14 days. Thats was my experience when i bought my Knaus.

Who are you dealing with at Lowdham's? And which Lowdham's are you dealing with? And when was your first estimated delivery, if was the same as my mates (end of April) then another month or so isnt bad and £700 off is more than acceptable.

Just be patient! Smile

We have got the same amount knocked as your mate.Looking like 2 weeks delivery for my globevan.First excuse shortage of ford chassis next one strike by delivery drivers.I think the reps have a book where they look for best excuse.
We are getting ours from huddersfield branch. Is that where your mate is in the queue?

Yes thats where he is getting his from. I dont think they are excuses, i think it is genuine, i have been up with my mate and spoken to the lad who he is dealing with. I am a very good judge of charater and can tell if someone is telling me porkies or not, and he isnt!

Infact i have been up there today to look in the shop, needed some chocks. Popped into the motorhome sales department to have a chat...they were very busy but the lad we have both dealt with was there and explained that they were still waiting and hopefully the van would be there on friday, so all i can say is fingers crossed.

I mentioned about the forum (which they monitor), so they know about the posting and he just said 'we are in the hands of the gods its seems, there are a lot of people waiting for delivery of vehicles from various manufacturers, some have been waiting much longer but at least we are only a few weeks away from being able to hand over the vehicles to our Globevan customers'.

What more can we say? Not a lot i think. Very Happy

Does MrMotorhome work for Lowdhams by any chance? Could he be the MHF monitor?
