I just happened to glance up and notice we have gained a whopping 35 members on just this single day.

I believe this is the knock on effect from the show publicity and word of mouth getting around Smile

Nuke doesn't say how many of them are paying subscribers, though Wink

Nice to see the efforts of Nuke and the people who have been flying the flag (back to Eurovision? Laughing ) for MHF recently, paying off with increased numbers. Server upgrade, here we come again Confused

Subscription or none, this is the best site of all. I regularly log on to Out and About Live, and the response is very poor for the forums. 2 nite i asked aquestion about sleeping bags on MHF and within the hour had several replies. Everyone is so helpful in sharing their knowledge. It is certainly the best tenner i have spent. Cheers

Makes you wonder how many motorhomes/owners there are in the UK, there are 000's of members of MHF but more often than not whenever I meet other MHers out and about they have never heard of MHF.

Are there any industry figures? how many MH are sold a year, when you figure that most MH will last into their teens (well maybe none of Russells) there must be quite a few of us now.

Here are some figures for new motorhome registrations:
Year Registrations
2001 5,131
2002 5,977
2003 7,468
2004 8,491
2005 8,816

These figures I found after seeing your question by downloading the PDF report available HERE <<<

Reported in that web page as "Motorhome registrations jumped 71.8 per cent in last five years"

Lots of interesting reading in the report Wink

as they say ...Hopethishelps Laughing

Maybe its time to severely limit the access to forums - or indeed most of the site to subscribers, for a tenner its well worth it but if I was a 'lurker' I could still glean tons of info free; Limit the access and let those serious sign up & pay
