Hi guys.

New to this forum.. Havent got a clue where i am going and i hope i posted in the correct forum!!

Abit about me and why we are buying a motorhome - I am Lawrence Roberts and i am 14 from North Wales, I race quadbikes in the Britsh champs, Me and my dad have been looking for a motorhome for quite a while and we have come across this model (Burstner A747) at the local dealership and looks rather nice and a big garage at the rear for all the kit!

I am just wondering if anyone has one and has any problems or any info on them with the towing weight ect..Just anything basically please.

Thanks guys

Lawrence

Hello Lawrence,

Welcome to the site.

We have the same m/h (3yrs old now). No problems, good well built German m/h. 23/24 mpg. Plenty of storage, great heating system, bathroom size lets it down but more +'s than -'s. There is one for sale on this site. See the link below.

Hi Lawrence

Welcome, you do get a lot of motorhome with a large payload and great size garage for your money. However you need to check the weight it can carry in the garage, not sure how heavy a quad bike is, for unless you use up some of the payload then you can only tow 200kgs with an empty trailer wieghing over that not much good for a quad. The new model 747 can tow 2000kgs and as a great payload.
There is a Rimor superbrig with a purpose garage for quads etc, may be worth having a look at.

Best of luck Roy

We measured up the garage and it wouldnt fit Crying or Very sad

We would be carrying a cannopy and a big tool chest and 3 decent size boxes in the garage and we would be pulling a small box trailer with a quad in.. the quad dosnt weigh much.

The Rimor is ideal but we cant find one cheap and its 4 berth correct? we need somthing abit bigger for the family. Smile

Thanks very much roy!

Hi
Have you looked at RV toyhaulers?? Some have HUGE garages and enormous payloads. Have a look here and look at the Funmover model
