We are thinking of getting a Fiamma privacy room and wondered if there was anyone out there who could tell us how user friendly they are.

I posted a similar query 2-3 weeks ago. I really liked the idea of walking out into the extra space (like on our c'van) but my main worry was how they behaved in the very high winds we seem to have much of the time now. after the gales B/H weekend I decided a definite NO. Have tried a freestanding awning but it was sooo high. in addition to putting it up, we had to stand on a ladder to open and close the back down - we are both vertically challenged! hope this helps

Have you looked at the Foxwell Products annex room. I got the front sunblocker at the Stratford Show which seems a really good well made product. It comes with attachments to fix storm straps; and you can get side panels to fit.

The website is FOXWELL PRODUCTS

I have a 3.0m one that we want to get rid of if you are interested. Almost unused.
Are you anywhere near Oxford?

Afraid our awning is 3.5m. How easy do you find them to erect?

We have never actually put it up. I suspect that it is about 20 min. It zips onto the roof (3 panels).
There are two poles that fit each end next to the van.
