It seems they set these vans up as motorhomes, and the 'mappers' drive around Europe in them, living in the van, and videoing the roads as they go. Sounds like a geat job to me!

Not that I'm bothered, no more than I was when Moandix web address was modded/deleted the other day. But I do understand that Spam advertising can easily clog a site's arteries and should not be tolerated.

I dearly wish that was the case. Alas, it is not. Adsense ads only make a few cents a time, if that (some are public service ads) And there is a movement against PPC (Pay Per Click) adverts, since many internet users are becoming ad-blind. The click rates are nothing like they used to be.

I totally agree. Spam advertising is horrible and intrusive - besides, I have no need of the services they offer (I think)
