Hi everyone

As the title suggests I am looking for a wheelchair bag to accommodate a child's wheelchair for transporting via the bike rack of our van. Currently, it fits nicely unfolded with a motorcycle cover as way of protection from the elements. However, this is time-consuming and I have been looking for a purpose-made bag or zipped cover for a while, without success.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Regards

Tim

Try >here< or if you google on "wheelchair bags" you will find a few more. If you are not happy with what you find I got a bag made up by >Gardners of Wakefield< They will do anything that requires a cover.

Hi;

You could also try foxwell products, they made a custom roofrack bag for me, couldn't have been more helpful.....

http://www.foxwellproducts.co.uk/erol.html#691X0

They also make a bikerack storage bag which might suit....

Fiamma make a carry-all zipped bag which fits onto a bike rack. I have one which I use for transporting outside chairs and table etc. Try the Fiamma website.

http://www.fiammastore.com/ultra_boxes_page2.htm This is the link.

Thanks everyone.

I was looking at quite a few of the sites for disabled products and forget about the custom products and motorhome sites, etc. A lot of suggestions to look through.

thanks again,

Tim

Hi everyone

I managed to get a wheelchair bag, ordered locally from a mobility shop in Southport. It cost £25, which I thought was quite reasonable at the time.

However, I have since bought one of these: http://www.riverswayleisure.co.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?StockId=$206044& Category= It was £12.95 and does the job perfectly. Actually, it is much better than the purpose-made wheelchair bag I got from the mobility shop. Just passing it on in case anyone is looking for something similar.

Regards

Tim
