What do you mean - what is your definition of 'landscape' ?
I see one or two that wouldn't fit my definition but 50%

Seascapes have predominantly sea with perhaps a little shore.
Frank..I''ve exaggerated with my estimate of 50%. I've just gone through and looked at each one and I reckon 32 % ( 46 /143) would not stand an interpretation as a landscape.
I don't want knickers to get in a twist over this ! It was purely an observation. I did wonder if people had put in photos having missed the bit about "Landscapes" this month. I suspect some will be kicking themselves because they could have put their photo in another month.
From this quote, clearly anyone with difficulty needs to press the shutter more and realise the point, so I'm told, is to convey the emotion of stuff OUTSIDE the picture.
"Defining landscape photography.
Landscape photography is difficult to define. The more landscape photography I do, the broader my definition becomes. For me, landscape photography is not so much about what is contained in the image, but what it portrays about a place. While a landscape photograph might be a wide-angle image of a pristine lake or an ocean sunset, it might just as well be a dormant plant in a winter pond. If the lake, the sunset and the dormant plant image each reveal something significant about a place, its inhabitants, or its conditions and evoke an emotional response in the viewer, they qualify as landscape photographs in my book. Grand or tiny, a landscape is not so much about the subject itself, but rather about the place in which the subject exists and the feeling the subject and place evokes."
So, a still-life of a plant is a Landscape, if you imagine the land around it. Okkkaaayyyyy ........
That's the trouble with arty types; you can't pin the bu..ers down over anything
IMO there is only one where the land doesn't materially affect the picture and as it is one of mine I will gladly withdraw it to a later round or leave it there and at the risk of boring people also enter it in the open round which I was thinking of doing anyway

Dave
I don't know what to say !
So I can enter my photos of Venice because I know that about 5 km away there was some land ? Or, knowing that my frogs are in a pond, in a garden, in a street on the edge of the field makes photos of the frogs into landscape photos ?
I clearly speak a different English from a professional photographer !
