Hello folks,
I'm new to this method of learning but I'm sure there must be a knowledge base to tap into, so here goes.
I own a 1997 Hymer B650 on a Fiat Ducatto chassis.
My Question is how do the headlight adjusters work.
I know they are hydralic using a water based fluid.
What I need to know is how do you refill them if the pipes have been disconected from the adjusters on the dipped beam headlight shell inside the bonnet.
Can they be bleed and how do you introduce new fluid into the system and what type of fluid is used?
Many thanks in anticipation,
Michael

Michael

Did you find a way of recharging your headlight adjusters?

Hi,sorry but the system is factory sealed and cannot be refilled! The complete system (adjuster, hoses and actuators) can be bought from main dealer and fitted as a complete unit with minimal dismantling of the van.
