Hi Photography lovers!

Anyone own a Nikon D70s/80?

I have recently added to my camera collection and bought a Nikon D300. Utterly superb camera. All I have to do is learn how to use it in a hurry! Daughters wedding coming up very soon in Cyprus and I am the photographer. Err don't ask!

Unlike my Fuji S3 the Nikon has to have an electronic remote control so I bought two Photix Cleon N8's from Hong Kong. Unfortunately for me they sent two N6's which are for the D70s/D80:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=18 0227192289&ssPageName=MERCOSI_VI_ROSI_PR4_PCN_BIX_Stores&refitem=18022 5385172&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&refwidgettype=osi_widget&_trksid=p28 4.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSI%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D4%26ps%3D42

A very functional bit of kit and have to say very well built.

I decided it was was not worth the paperwork to send them back so have arranged for two N8's to be sent to me. If anyone is interested for what I paid but without the 2 - 6 week wait I have one left.

Cost £26 in total (£19 + £7 p&P)

Regards

Chris

Looks good, I think I'll buy one but will have to suffer the wait. Why did you buy two?

Hi Robin,

Two reasons:

1. I am the photographer at all three of my Children's weddings this year. Don't ask! If one should go wrong I wanted a backup and at that price it seemed worth it.

2. I have a Nikon D300 and a Fuji S3. The same remote works on both.

Regards

Chris
