I have spent ages trying to upload an avature with no aparant luck.
I would also like to enter the photo competition but do not know how to send in entries.
Help Please.

To enter the photo competition from the home page at the top click on the icon Motorhome photos, click on 2008 Photographer of the year competion and final click on Album 2 Pepole and Animals, At the top of this album you should see a pull down menu labeled Album Actions, click on Add photo and follow the instructions.

If you look in website help there are detailed instructions for all of this but the problem most people have with avatars is the size of the photograph, its needs to be small enough and as to the photo comp just go to the album and at the top of the page towards the right you will see a tab that if you press on it drops down to say add photos. Click on that and then follow the instructions
Hello its me again,
I had viewed and tried your sugestions prior to my post.
I have tried since, and after clicking on the add photo instruction nothing happens. Is it just me, or my pc.

after you have clicked "add photos" you should get a separate pop up box titled "Add Photos"
Click on the "browse" button and select the photo that you want to upload
This will then give you another box showing the file you wish to upload. In this same box you can also title the photo
Use the sidebar to scroll to the bottom and click "upload now"
This will then give you another pop up box saying that your photo is being uploaded with a progress bar. When it says "dismiss" your photo should show in the album that you chose to upload the photo to.

thanks for the advice.
I still do not get any other popup box appear after i have clicked on add photo.
So i am reluctantly admitting defeat, going to open a bottle of red,
book ferry for summer hols.

When you click on add photos another box opens up allowing you to browse and select the photo. How many windows have you open. If it has already opened and is hiding below something else then it will appear as though nothing is happening
