Hi,

I have always made a sticker to place inside my vans to remind me of the height, nothing worse than approaching a bridge and not being exactly sure is there!

Today I made another height sticker for my camper, but this time I made it stand out more, simply Googled 'low-bridge signs' in Google images, found the height sign I need and then saved it, cropped it and covered it with plastic, simply glued to the position you see in the picture attached.

My camper is 9ft 10inches high, I decided on 10ft, I just have to make sure that anything I approach that is under or on that height, I turn around Smile

Good one!

hi rob

like you, i made a sign, but yours is so much better. will make one when i get home. i believe it is a legal requirement in the uk for all vehicles over 3 metres. we are 11'8", 3.6m. approached a bridge in picardy a couple of days ago, showing 3.9m, and was very pleased to be able to check, as i couldn't remember the metric height. still ducked as i went under, though.

Hi des, why do we do that Very Happy I'm the same even though I know I have room Wink

I have had another look on Google and I was lucky, my height was easily found, not so others, I have a blank sign attached in this post, members can save it to their computer, then using any/most editing programs can add their height, much the same as I have done here for des, which he can be simply print off Smile

Make sure to click on the attachment to get the correct size and quality before saving or printing the images Wink
