More info re dog walks has been suggested in the Pets forum.
Personally I'd like to see a few other changes if possible;
1. Can members actually put a bit more info - alot of them are pretty much the advert & little else - I want to know what actual MH'ers think of the place.
2. Nearest food would be nice (pub / restaurant / take away).

I'm sure other might have some suggestions.

MODS - if this is the wrong forum please move if not delete - thanks.

Sure do. I'd like to see a few more contributors.

As someone who is unable to walk too far I would like to see the proximity to public transport and the frequency. Went to one who boasted a bus stop outside site only to find there was onlya bus every four hours! Rolling Eyes

Last time I tried listing a site I spent Half an hour filling the form and adding an extra description
went to the next screen which told me I had not selected an option
pressed the back button which took me back to a blank form
lost the booming lot Evil or Very Mad

Hi Kelcat

I've moved this thread to "New Feature Requests" as Nuke looks at posts here frequently for any suggestions.

The campsite database team would agree with you about adding extra information to site entries, we like to see plenty of good info about sites included. Nuke has recently made many more fields mandatory to encourage more information, for example, many members were omitting to give a "rating" for the site.

It's probably impractical to add many extra fields to the database but that doesn't stop members putting all manner of information in the free text fields, the more info the better as far as we are concerned. Also please submit a review to existing sites if you have anything to add.

If you lend someone £20 and never see that person again, it was probably well worth it. Wink

I think the Campsite Reviews is a very under used portion of the site(don't know how correct my English is there!) Its something I always look for when looking at the database,and have found very few... It would be good to see recent reviews,things may have changed since the original entry.

The campsite database is an excellent facility of this site,one,in the short time I've been here that I've used more than any other.I'm slowly adding entries and reviews myself for each site I visit,for me with cr*p typing skill and speed its a pain but so is writing this! Rolling Eyes
