Not a new feature... more of an observation and suggestion. My understanding by the "Sport Related" forum was for posts about sports/activities followed when using your motorhome yet I continually see items about sport which in no way combines with using your motorhome. If I am correct in my thinking most of what is in this forum should be in "Off topic" and the forum should be retitled to make it clearer what it should be used for??

Sport issues are in sport.
Which is exactly what General Sport related forum states - Any other sport discussion not related to the sub forums.

Nobodies posting about Lewis Hamilton and Paula Radcliff in MotoX or Skiing.

Can't see what the problem is myself.

Hi Peedee.

Are you referring to motorhome drag racing? Or, maybe stock-motorhome racing?

I guess that there are many sports enthusiasts on MHF who want to share their views, so I suppose a sports-related sub forum is the only way. I take your point, though. I'm not sure what was originally intended for the sports forum.

hi Peedee

yes, it's perhaps taken on a life of it's own, the main "sport-related" forum has been taken to be a general discussionn about any sports - not necessarily in relation to using your motorhome. the sub-forums have been added by request to discuss using the motorhome for the specific activities.
The lewis hamilton thread has been put there because it's well, sport related Embarassed , as are others which are (as you rightly point out) off-topic items related to sport.
I suppose as long as people know that this type of thread will be found there, it's ok?
If anybody has any speciific sports sub forums requests - (eg motorhomers going to le mans which is in the forum now), we can ask Nuke to set them up.

Ok so I am being 'picky' but thought I would point out that it is being mistakenly misused resulting in some clutter that is not deleted in 30 days.
As for other sub topics there is fishing, walking/hiking, cycling, and bird watching. All are commonly followed by owners of motorhomes. I think in the past it was decided there were not enough posts on what I would call "Hobbies followed using your motorhome" to warrant sub topics. However, a change of title and the inclusion of more sub topics would make it much clearer what the forum was intended for.
