We have been looking at different ways to stop that sinking feeling whilst on site and also aware of the damage we may do to the ground we have been looking at a product called turf pave used mainly for drive ways etc
the suppliers web site address is www.boddingtons-ltd.com. Please take a look, We would much appreciate your comments as we are fairly new to motorhoming. We wondered if we bought four squares and put them under the tyres it would solve the problem

There are several products none called Turfpave that I could see. The grass protecta gets its slip resistance by letting the grass grow through and stabilise and warns against using it any earlier. Depends how long you are on site for Smile

We have a grass mat which is cut in half to give two strips 1500mm x 500mm.
They do give some relieve from sinking in but, more important to me, a means of getting out of wet or muddy sites without chewing the ground over!
Can't find the guys we bought from - it is primarily used for horses... This site seems to have the same thing MUCH cheaper than I paid Rolling Eyes

....but the GRASS CARPET looks "the biz & should do the trick. Haven't looked at the price.

WE use a similar product -www.tenax.co.uk which I "blagged" (for a price) from a local garden centre. Works well-much better than the Griptrack product.

The stuff in the link supplied by Patrick looks good too!

This looks like a good idea to me. Not sure about which thickness would be best. Patrick, do you think the 15mm thick one would be ok?

Cheers
Chris

The one I have is 15mm and bearing in mind that it is quite heavy I don't think I would want thicker.

Unfortunately industial mats want £24 to deliver! So I'll have to see if I can pick up something locally.

Thanks
