Shortly I will be moving house and I will have a 12 metre area of grass on the front garden where I will be able to park my motorhome. When time permits I will be knocking the garden wall down so the motorhome will disappear into the back garden onto hard standing behind some gates.I will be installing.

Will the GrassProtecta from Boddingtons allow me to park on the grass before I knock the wall down. I know the grass should be given the chance to grow through the mesh but I don't have much choice as it's now November.

Would you use a two metre wide strip or two one metre strips?

At the moment I store the motorhome on a farm where tuggers also store their vans and when I went up last weekend they had been churning the ground up something rotten so I want to get away from there as soon as possible

Thanks for any replies, Frank

Yes, I am sure you can drive on it before the grass grows through, they use it for parking on film units all the time without problems, other than that, the width of the system depends on your driving accuracy and how tight the turn is, if any.

I would go for the single 2m piece this has less chance of moving when it should'nt.

Hi BF3

We laid a grass system like you to cover the whole front garden and parked our van on it straight away, but i did lay planks under the tag axle wheels straight away as it had been raining for a long time. It does work better once the grass and worm casts have grown through.
