I have got one but I am keeping it although I now have a Crankup fitted.
The reason why I am keeping it is, its small and east to store and can be used in very high winds or if the only pitch you can get has trees in the way you can always move the litle multimo to one side. Both of these have happend to me recently.
It worked ok in mid France on all channels.
You could just as easy get a normal Sky dish for next to nowt of Ebay but they are bulky and easy to break as I found out, so it depends on how much room you have.
Thanks Richard. Is the Multimo as easy to set up as a dish on a tripod? I had a sky dish on a tripod until last Saturday. But some lowlife stole it, they even disconected the cable and untied the guy ropes. So now I'm looking at a harder to steel alternative.
Hello Andy good piece of kit and just as easy to set up but if they can pinch a full satillite kit the multimo will fit in there bag as its a lot smaller
the litle <a href=http://www.outdoorbits.com/product_info.php/cPath/11_60/products_id/296>Multimo [MHF Link]</a> to one side.
Is it really £300 better than the ubiquitous "Maplin" suitcase kit ?
I noticed that B&Q are doing Freesat kits this week - £39 unless I did not look properly - anyway I saw £39, next to a big dish with wall mount, a little receiver ( looks like the Maplin one ).

I actully carry both. The multimo is used on a pole when i need height as its in built clamp is ideal for pole moulting. The multimo is stored under a bed/seat. The maplins suitcase system can (exept for the dish) be carried in a small (10 x 6 x 6 inch) tupperware box. The dish when dissasembled if flat so fits anywhere.
I use both dishes with the maplin reciever and the Lidl laser level tripod with swivel head if floor mounted. Brilliant. Takes 2 mins to set up if you have a cvlear view of the sat.
ps the dish is avaialbe on its own at about £120 and works with any reciever

My son did a side by side comparison between the Multimo and a Lidl dish. Surprisingly, the Lidl dish gave a better performance.
I have a Lidl dish lying about in the loft if anyone would like a free one.

Not that surprising. Size Matters with dishes and telescopes and binoculars and cameras.
If you don't get the signal in you just end up making up for it by boosting it which is not as good.
