Anybody out there found the same problem ?
The rain water from the roof is going into my garage through the two doors.Where would I get plastic channel to redirect this water? The van is dirty looking with the black streaks, must depend on the slope the van parks on or the way the wind blows. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Gabbie,

Try here for a self adhesive gutter to stop the drips.

Hymer use a similar thing on their a class vans that is a much smaller profile than the fiamma one, and looks very neat when fitted.

David

ps I have some of the fiamma drip stop if you want to see it before buying.

Hi Gabbie
Depending on wind direction water may blow through the furry strip.
I myself used plastic U channel from B&Q and stuck it on with Sicaflex it does the job well and is easier to clean than the other product, it is also cheaper.
I have put it over every window & door. Another good idea to stop the rain flowing down the side windows in the cab is to stick large L section strip onto the roof this ensure heavy rainfall will go down the windscreen.
If your van is new Polch will fit these for you FOC. They now employ my idea having seen it some 5 years ago when we had a Arto.

Gabbie,

I have had my drip stop for some time, but haven't fitted it yet. I think I'm going to try and get some of the hymer type as it is much neater.

I don't know how easy it is to clean.

Looking at Richards post, that may well be a better solution as it will be out of sight - I'll have a look at the roof and see what's possible.

Is your Auchterarder meet at Christmas fully booked? I'm not going skiing now due to illness in the family, but want to get away for a few days with the kids.

Merry Christmas,
David
