I have had my Camos for a few weeks and so far, so good.
I am over at Oswestry this weekend and, despite very windy conditions, I am watching picture perfect TV. Even though the van is rocking quite noticably, the picture is not freezing or pixelating at all. I find this strange as, given that the van is rocking side to side, the dish is moving with it!
The dish locks on very quickly - I would say faster than the previous Oyster unit that I had. The control unit is very easy to use, with no fuss what so ever. Whilst the unit is searching for the satellite though, I do think it is a bit noisier than the Oyster, but as the search is over and done with in seconds, I can't really see this as an issue.
The Oyster did however perform better in northern Italy, notably Lake Garda and receive the Astra2D channels - ie BBC and ITV. The Camos cannot receive these channels at Garda, but did pick up BBC Radio stations, Channel 5 and my SKY package without fuss.
As I am in the UK more than overseas, I think I have picked the correct set up for my needs.
Russell

Intresting to know you are pleased Russell as we are wanting a Dome on our new van (if we can afford one after buying the van).
I guess for Italy your best bet would to be just to bung a big dish in the garage and use that when required. As you say the Camos is going to be ok for most of the time.
Have you had a chance to try it up North? to say Fort William?
We live in the NE Scotland and have a Camos fitted - works perfectly and gets good picture as far north as Dunnet Bay, have also used it at Bunree CC site just south of Fort William. Last summer we were in the southern Alsace and Germany - worked fine and good reception with all channels.
Hi Russell, where abouts are you in Oswestry, we were there last weekend along with 76 other vans at the showground, for our motorcaravanners Christmas Dinner and party, and we are back there for New Year Hope you are enjoying it.
