If you are still trying to use Sky, the frequency will be the same. Biggest issue will be the dish. Need a ruddy great dish for Sky.

Hi we manage to get Sky in Portugal but mostly in the daylight hours for BBC ITV etc however we can get some channels at night.

1st question have you adjusted your LNB it needs to be around (pretend you are looking at a clock) twenty to the hour, or in another way eight o clock, rather than six o clock when in the uk.

Our dish is the oyster so not that big, usually manage to catch up on soaps (record etc) on ITV 2 plus 1 whilst daylight, as I have already said daylight and clear skies are a big part of what and when you recieve a signal.

Believe me I know how frustrating no signal received can be.

Hi Tessajoe

I would go to a satellite shop that supplies the local expat community with sky boxes etc. They will have a set up sheet for changing the default transponder etc. Here In Cyprus we change the default transponder and also add channels through alternative transponders. Hope this helps ?
