Unfortunately I have had to remove a member from the site who had taken it upon themselves to use MHF messaging and email facilities to promote a new motorhome website that they were setting up
This sort of unsolicited behaviour is firstly spamming and secondly expressly against our site rules.
Just a reminder that the MHF facilities are not to be used in this manner and prompt action will be taken against any member that does.

so to clarify this members cannot send PRIVATE messages to other members with regards to other motorhome web sites

I think the word is Advertising. The key feature to note is "promote a new motorhome website that THEY were setting up"
I don't think for one minute that, if you found another website that you liked, and thought may be of interest to others, that you would be removed just for mentioning it - but I stand corrected if wrong!
that's not the same as actively trying to "poach" members for your own gain!
