I have been reading about various options for receiving sat TV in our motorhome and am now totally confused.
I have a digital TV and a Sky+ box and want a sensibly priced aerial to use in France and Spain.
I know that a fully automatic system is available but I cannot afford the ridiculous prices.
Can someone advise me what the best option is within £500 total cost please?

You would stand more chance of a good response if you posted it in the Satellite TV forum.
Got to be the Maxview Crinkup !!!! Only takes a short time to set up and can be used in all France and some of Spain...
Otherwise a stand alone dish and a tripod stand..
I'm the same... Dont want to spend a fortunte on an automatic dish..
Wife makes the tea, I align the dish.. Simples.... !!
It doesn't have to be a Maxview Crankup. It could be one of >>These<<
It used to be a lot cheaper from the manufacturers in Denmark, when the £ was good against the €.
We use one, and I am now getting a signal within seconds, and usually quicker that the auto dish set ups. This ability has been enhanced greatly by binning the Pace Sky box in favour of better receiver.
Jock.
