I love my Camos. It is pouring with rain and also very strong winds. The van is buffeting and rocking, yet the picture remains uninterrupted.

I know from experience I would have lowered a conventional dish in these conditions.

Russell

For anyone "not in the know", the Camos is the dome shaped thing and the satellite dish itself is protected from the elements, sitting underneath the dome housing.

I'd not be without mine for the same reasons. It may have been an expensive outlay but it's been well worth it and hasn't failed me yet.

I too have a camos dome, brilliant bit of kit,as said expensive but well worth it. Its amazing how many people believe me when I say its so I can stand up in the shower.

Strange you should mention standing in the shower, as that is what I tell people about the lump on my roof. I say it is part of an elaborate shower arrangement! I think I first read that suggestion on here though.
