Hi I have just got a new tv for the van, it is a BlueVision Max. It has built in freeview and Dvd, which all works fine. My problem is that the only sockets on the TV are coax in and out, a USB in and a sd card slot. I want to be able to use my FTA Satellite when I go abroad, can I connect it to the coax in or have I got problems.

Regards Pete

Pete, you'll need a SKY box with a RF out, most Freesat boxes only have Scart sockets.

Doesn't sound right, a TV with no AV input. Can you please confirm, pics of the connections would help.

Would have thought there would be a 'SCART' socket on the TV, if not all is not lost.
You can either go for a USB satellite receiver, or one that has TV output.
No recommendations, but there are plenty of both on EBay.

Martin.

You could always use a scart to RF converter available from Maplins for around £30 if you get stuck

Scart to RF never works well. Best bet, ditch the telly and get one of these:
