I'm picking up a new Warwick Duo next week and would like to install a Camos crank up. The roof on the Boxer / Ducato is ribbed and I would be interested to hear from anyone who has installed this dish on this type of roof and whether there were any problems.

Roly. I've got a Maxview crankup on my ribbed roof Duetto fitted by Adventure Motorhomes in Bridgewater who sponsor this part of the site-see above.

He did have to modify the mounting plate so I guess it might be possible to get a Camos up there as well. The owner-Nick is incredibly helpful. Why not give him a ring?

If you can get a Camos dome on a ribbed roof as mine, I see no reason why you can't get a crank-up, too. See pic of my roof in the MHF Garage section. Murvi mount a baseboard first.

Dave - I think the dome is easier to fit than the crank up as it spans a larger area of the roof. I know that you are very happy with your dome but I just can't come to terms with the look of the thing!

Mike - I'll call in to see Adventure Motorhomes on my way down to Vanbitz who are fitting an alarm on the 8th April.

Thanks to you both for your replies.

I wasn't trying to change your mind Smile

As long as you have a baseboard that spans two ribs you're done.
