Hi

Had Oyster fitted to van in Feb and the set up was done with my Sky+ box. Each time we have gone away we have had no problems, just connect up hit the dish button and 'hey presto'. We are in the New Forest for the weekend and for the first time have brought the standard digi box (used as multi-room back home).

Dish has found Astra 2 OK but nothing is coming through to the TV. Does this box need some form setting up??? it's driving me mad any ideas.

Regards

Allan

Hi This may be a silly question but your spare box isn't a freeview box is it

Hi Squiggle - the box is my original Sky box that was moved upstairs when we had Sky+ installed (both boxes are on full Sky package).

Regards

Allan

Allan,
Sounds like it is a bad connection. Even with no satellite signal there should be connection between the digibox and the TV, and if so then hit services on the sky remote, 4 system set up and 6 to see what information that gives. Only other thought is whether the TV has defaulted to another input. If you use the TV remote there should be a TV/AV button which will cycle through the inputs and one of them should be Sky.

Good luck

Sorted - re-tuned TV and it picked up the digi box (another "live & learn" moment!!!!)

Thanks

Allan
