My week-old MH has a fitted Avtex W102D. This has a problem in that it switches off with the slightest vibration.

I have tracked the problem down to the mounting screws on the VESA bracket that are too long. They are M4 x 15mm screws. I have checked the screws on the similar sized bracket that holds my house kitchen TV and they are only M4 x 10mm screws.

When the TV is unscrewed from the bracket it appears to work fine but I am concerned that the screws may have damaged something inside the TV.

I am going to ask Avtex for their advice tomorrow before taking it up with my dealer.

Peter
