Spend as much as you can afford. Load it with pics and she will love looking at it straight out of the paper.

There are loads for sale on ebay

My advice is to look before you buy as the picture quality varies dramatically. Take a look at how many pixels there are as the pixel count will dictate how sharp things look. Take a walk into Comet they usually have a good range on display.

Look at Philips and Sony - two good brands, high pixel counts and very natural colours.

dont bother with 7 and 8" screens too small. We have 2 x 15" frames and they are brilliant Instructions a bit vague but soon masterd.

Try www.digitalframesdirect.com

7" goes in mh.just to remind us of home

Bought a sony one for a present at Xmas excellent picture quality. I bought from Comet after shopping around, used their order on line, collect at store sysytem. lots cheaper than buying directly at the shop.

Sadly my Dad passed away in Dec. Bought my ma 10" Poloroid one and loaded it with every photo of Dad that family can dig up. It has been a great comfort to her. Excellent quality wouldn't go for smaller

We have an 8.4" screen and find it just right for our environment, any bigger and it would be too obtrusive. It's easy to use (does images, video and MP3) We have it set on a time switch so don't have to touch it at all. You can store photos in different files so you can change the theme if you want or just play them all at random.

Do you mind if I ask, what brand did you get. S.
