Hi my dad is 80 this year (but very young for his age) he wants to hire a MH to travel round the UK with a view to buy. But we are struggling to find a MH hire company that will hire to someone of his age Shocked

- can anyone help???? He has a full clean licence.

Talk to the company you may be purchasing from. Tell them that you want to purchase but wish to hire at first and if the van is what he wants will purchase afterwards - providing they waive the hire cost.

I would contact all hire companies and ask! We have a 70 year limit, some others have 75. It is a stipulation of the insurers, and they can do nothing about it!

Go through a few and see what age limits they have - i did here that there was a dorset company that went to 80 but no idea who or if it was just rumour!
