I have been trying all morning to insure a Sachs Saxonette I bought back from Germany last week,(used), the insurance companies i have contacted all say they have not got it listed,i have to register it in this country,it also has to have an mot,road taxed ,but has to be insured first but with who ?? can anyone help please
try www.caravanwise.co.uk The reason I suggest it is that they seem less interested in the details than others just checking out you, your parking and your track record. Simple and great price too. So they're less likely to want an exact match for the motorhome. Recommend them wholeheartedly.
That said, I think you should check the spelling or exact name as from what I could find, you've just bought an electric bicycle
EDIT: Out of interest, is this a Hymer variant? Seems odd that I coan't find one and it's in the Hymer forum.

I have a couple of Saxonettes (his & hers) both purchased in Germany. We are currently insured with Insurance Choice at Leamington Spa. Have you found another company?
I dont use it anymore as i think it cost to much,to tax,insure,mot it every year , as we only use it when in france which is about 8 weeks a year.
it sits in the garage and has done for a year ,so its for sale if you know anyone who wants one
