Hi - I've just bought a devolo wirelss extender to get through our thgick walls. Works first time but registers as a new unsecured network. Is anyone familiar with this type of device (the supplied instructions are useless).
Can I set my notebook to automatically select whichever signal is strongest?
Can I security enable the devolo network?
Can I make the devolo just forward on the BT settings?

That sorted the security issues anyway.
They're a fantastic bit of kit - especially if you live in an old house like us - I tested the wireless this morning & it even connects to the outside powerpoint so I can work in the garden.
