It was one washout of a day camping under canvas at the MotoGP at Donington a few years back now that I said to myself **** this, I'm getting a caravan! The caravan came and went and is now replaced with the motorhome (no going back!). This is the first year for me without bike and canvas, BUT, I've cleverly gone and fractured my leg, ouch Rolling Eyes

I've spoken to Donington Park and they said I can use the disabled facilities with a note from the doctor (which I have). Does anyone have any experience of the facilities there and what I can expect? Just as long as I don't have a mile long treck from the motorhome camping area to the track I'll be happy!

We have camped on the campsite attached to Donnington for the Mobility shows. There are some hardstanding pitches and the rest on grass. The disabled facilities such as toilets will be ok for you. To get to the show you walk to the back of the site and through a gate and then walk about 250yds to the entrance. I thought the campsite was very very expensive considering its basic facilities.

Thanks for your reply Joyce.

I'm sure the cost of camping for the MotoGP has gone up at Donington, the cost this year is a flat £26 per adult (i seem to think it was more like £15 when I last went 2 years ago), so if there's 2 of you and you're only staying the one night then it's a lot to pay for limited facilities! We're staying 4 nights so it's not so bad in that case.
