Ordered last week and it arrived on Monday. Print seems superb for an office. Quiet enough even though some reports said otherwise. Good bit, is it comes with the larger cartridges so it is cheaper to buy a new printer than a set of large cartridges! Bizarre. Will probably order another and put aside until I need cartridges.
Not sure if it will be any good for photo work, but seems a great all round printer at £139 plus vat inc delivery!
Lexmark do make excellent laser printers, shame about their inkjet printers.
Laser printers are not recommended for photo printing. I think because of the heat generated and photo paper coating.

As mentioned I bought it for the office. In particular to print some labels but also to replace a duplex inkjet. It is performing perfectly and the labels are great.
Will attempt a photo, but as you say they are not that good with them and it is not what I want it for. I have an Epson 3800 for that at home!
Call me sceptical but are you sure that the original toner(s) are completely full? It's not unusual for printer manufacturers to supply new machines with toners only 10/20% full.

You are entitled to be sceptical, but on this occasion it is unfounded!
When I bought the first one, the reviews actually stated that it is was unusual for a company to ship with the high yield cartridges. When it arrived it did indeed come with them. Hence buying another two printers.
