Hi We have a Samsung CLP-315, and the toner is around £43 for black, (printer was £99) I've been looking on the net for refills or any cheaper way to do it.

I came across this outfit, has anyone used them or knows of a reliable toner supplier.

Here is a link for a company i used to use..
At work we had several printers all the same. I used a kit where you made a hole in cartridge and then had a bung to re-seal.. Used them over and over again.. Saved a bomb

Toner refill

WHOOPS.. Did my reply why you where updating yours .. Anyway.. Yes I will recommend them... It's been 3 years since I sold my company and used to deal with them but certainly used them for a few years prior to that. So they have been around a while..

Take care! Lots of people swear by refills from other than manufacturers but the general opinion in professional journals is that they are rarely as good as original manufacturers' refills.

It certainly is my experience that head clogs and less toner is the norm for non-standard refills. I used them for a time and have now gone back to the more expensive originals.

Have you looked at the web site of Pricestorm:

http://www.pricestorm.com/

They sell both original and replacement cartridges. They're based in Guernsey so you don't pay VAT. I can't find the CLP-315 listed but maybe you could give them a call to see if the cartridge also fits another printer which is listed.

I use Cartridge World. It is a franchise operation and originated in Australia. Their stores are easy to spot with a bright yellow sign.

Some of you seem to be down on refilling, I know inkjets are a joke sometimes, but even new ones are rubbish sometimes, but I thought the technology for Toner was a lot more reliable.

Are all these bad don't do it posts about Toner or ink, as I don't need ink.

Kev.
