I'm having a problem with my sea cpt lift. When getting out of the car, the up/down motor is raising the lift normally. Then the motor moving the lift to the side is heard running, but it's not moving the lift sideways until the very end of its moving range.

As a result the lift start to go down too early when it's not now completely on the side.

The side movement can be made by hand, so it's possible to use the lift by help of others.

Could this be an adjustment problem, or is the side-moving actuator faulty? Is there carbon brushes in the side-actuator ?
