We seem to have been gathering pace with the number of members who wish to discuss these subjects here on MHF

Now as a community we of course allow discussion of all topics, but I must remind members that many people have no interest in either of these usually emotive subjects

therefore I would remind you to start any of these subject matter postings in the Subscribers Bar forum section which means that only those who actually wish to can participate in the threads as they are not displayed on the front page or to anonymous visitors to MHF

If a post is started on either of these subjects (or any other obviously controversial subject matter) in any section other than the Subscribers Bar they will be moved by the moderators without notice

The majority of members are not interested in political and other controversial threads, and we frequently get reports about them. The moderators have a "light touch" policy in such threads, and would rather spend their time (which is all voluntary) helping members than scanning through the Subscribers Bar.
