Hi All,

Eleanor and I drove up yesterday to LPH:

http://www.lakelandphotohols.com/

A long 6 hour drive and impressed that Eleanor did not ask once 'are we nearly there yet'! Think it was something to do with the fact that she kept looking at the Sat Nav and saying things like 'Look we are now going to arrive at 18:30 grrr'

Great to be back here and was looking forward to getting out this morning before breakfast, but alas the weather forecast was correct - rain! So busy sorting the camera gear out - again! Will shortly be waking the sleep monster also known as Eleanor!

Cannot believe that I bought so much gear for when I came back but still have not bought the Cameramac:

http://www.cameramac.net/

Will have to contend with the plastic bag again!

Forget just how wonderful the Lake District is. Looking forward to Eleanor's face when get to see some of the mountains, reckon she will be very impressed.

Regards

Chris

Chris....

I bought myself a couple of these (link below). Cheap and cheerfull but they work. Only downside is that putting the thing on gives the impression your going to do some personal vetinary inspection on the local live stock.

Hi Colin,

Got one of those or similar and they are useful. But once you have seen the cameramac in action you will want one!

Well, Eleanor and I got back about 17:00 on Saturday well shattered and photographed out!

Had an awesome week and can only recommend LPH for those that want to improve their landscape photography skills.

Hope to put some pictures up when time permits.

Best regards

Chris
