Greetings forum dwellers!
My truck starts and runs fine, however when the key is turned off it just keeps on running like a champ! I have to clamp the fuel line to get it to stop. I suspect it's the fuel shut off solenoid, but I'm having a heck of a time finding it in my manual. I think I've found it on the passenger side of the engine. I've taken the end cap off the solenoid and exposed the rod... I figured I could manually engage it to get the engine to stop... no luck. I have manually energized the solenoid and it seems to be working (clicks). At this point I'm thinking that whatever the solenoid is using to stop the flow of fuel is no longer working. I'm pretty sure that I'm not looking at the idle solenoid.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Mark

The fuel cutoff solenoid should be in the actual injector pump and screwed in. i dont have any personal experience of Iveco but all the other ones ive seen are there, with one wire going to them.
