In Sep 08 a new 'Korridor' Vignette was introduced for vehs up to 3500kg for the 23km stretch of the A14 Austrian Autobahn between the German border just east of Lindau down to junc 23 at the Eastern Swiss border near Hohenems.

This could save you a few €'s if you are transiting from Germany through Austria into Switzerland via the eastern end of Lake Constance (Bodensee) or visa versa and means you don't have to purchase a full Austrian Vignette.

The 'korridor' pass is valid for 24 hours and costs €2 single - €4 rtn.

Unfortunately it looks like the dreaded 'go box' tariff will still apply to motorhomes over 3500kg unless anyone else knows different?

Thank you for that information Pete, we drove through the centre of Bregenz in May to avoid the dreaded GO box.

Yes, its a shame they couldn't include heavier motorhomes in the scheme as well. Sad
