Thinking of changing our motorhome and have looked at the Karmann Mobil lowprofile on a VW base. Has anybody any experience of this range. Thanks in advance.

Hi Hilltrekker,

I have recently bought a Karmann Colorado 655 Ti and am very pleased with it. It is very well built, much quieter on the road than our previous van. The fixed rear bed is very comfortable, with a large storage area under it.

There is no oven as standard, we get round this by carrying a cheap microwave oven in the wardrobe just taking it out when needed.

The engine in ours is the 2.5 Litre 130bhp. It has plenty of power for this size of van. We are getting about 30 MPG with it at the moment.

We Bought it from direct from the importer "Geoff Cox" and I would highly recommend this family run firm.
