I have chosen photos from options but I get the message"An error is preventing the slide show from playing" this is on vista which I am having all soorts or problems with. On my Xp I chose 'My Pictures' and it plays all my pictures randomly no problem. I must submit this quick as I was cut off just now by "Welcome to Tabbed Browser-Internet Explorer.

I find the Vista system of files so confusing compaired to XP. On the left hand side you have 'Links' and pictures one contained my pictures, now it contains (Besides a Yellow folder with all my Picture folders within) Depending what program I am using or adding pics to emails it is sometimes difficult to trace the 'Pictures' folder. I'm sure the Windows Picture Gallery is an bonus if one is methodical in nameing each picture. I put mine in individual folders within the Picture folder. Does anyone else have a problem with there Acer jumping in text. ? Shocked

Have you tried downloading Picasa to operate your photos. I have it on a Vista laptop and it works very well.
