Friend has just has a little bump reversing in his car and is looking for a supplier of "cheap" reversing sensors. Any ideas please.

There is a new(ish) type of reversing sensor on the market now.

Its just a self-adhesive ariel that is fixed out of sight behind the bumper. A lead connects it to a small control box which can be sited in a locker.

I have fitted one, takes about an hour and no drilling.

I fitted some wireless sensors from ebay last month. Absolute sinch to fit and work well.

Cost about £23 I think - if you want details I'll post em.

Cheers

Cost £21.99 plus £4.95p&p. and I got them in white to match the van. I didnt like the idea of running a cable to the front so I took a punt on these wireless ones. Got to say so far they have been brilliant(Ive no connection with the seller btw). I wired the supply for the front display into the vans loom but it comes with a cigar lighter fitment and took the 12v off the reversing light wire. Easy.

I use them in addition to a rear view camera as I find it difficult to judge distance from the image.

Good luck.
