We have a pressure gauge near the driver door, which until the weekend was a total mystery. Then I noticed a little sticker hidden when the door is closed, which states that an airbag is fitted to the suspension, and that the pressure should be between 1 and 6, it currently reads 1.5, just short of the green field which starts around 2.

I've found from reading here that these airbags may be T'd together, and as there is only one gauge, I can assume they are joined??

There is another mysterious 'thing' - a sort of a spline, below the gauge,
which will turn about 10 degrees to the right, but then springs back when you release it, - it doesn't seem to do anything else, I'm wondering if this once had another gauge attached??

Oh the joys of a 'preloved' van, my Dad said the chap he bought it off explained a lot of things, but as he was so poorly at the time, he took very little in.

I think we've found a decent chap who does motorhome servicing, so hopefully he will be able to cast some light Confused Confused

Usually they only have one dial. The lever should have three positions - Left airbag pressure; right airbag pressure, and third (central position) both airbags together.

PS. That info based on an AirRide system.

there is no lever, just a gauge attached to the dash, the spline thing is also attached to the dash, rather than part of the gauge.

thanks for all your help tonight btw Very Happy Very Happy
