Bit of a sticky one, after 11,000kms of trouble free driving, we have had to major ones in 5 mins.
Fixed the oil pressure light flashing by taking the bulb out, but worse, we have a cracked water pipe on the engine.
We welded this up before we left but it was a bit of last minute thing and appears to have cracked again due to the support bracket being corroded and replaced with stainless steel cable ties.
What i need is the name of any iveco parts dealers/dismantlers in Vienna, or the name of a chain of auto parts stores where we can buy some hose, hose clips, a mapp gas torch etc, and repair it ourselves.
Any help/info/advice would be greatly apprecieated! we would really like to make it to munich for the octoberfest on the 16th!
Van is an iveco 49-10, 2.8 TD, 1997. I know i can get the part we need of another 2.8TD iveco so a wreckers would be ideal but after a few hours on the internet i have been unsucessful in finding one in town or at least within public transport limits.
Hi Fletch - I've moved this to Austria touring, I can see the point of putting it in road problems, but somebody who is in the area or knows the area may be able to help.
