http://m.uk.yahoo.com/?p=us this is web site showing at the moment. it does a new presentation of a with web siites recently visited. Also next to the favourites and history signs are poping up with last items clicked on ( ex: a random site on MHF) Any ideas. This acer has a mind of its own, as I type it jumped tothe box where the website is but now has something like a dustcart or house in blue and yellow. The type continually jumps all over the place. when using the lappy keyboard. Any ideas?

It sounds as though you have a virus or worse. Run your virus checker. Do not open any important files or secure websites whilst your computer is behaving like this.
If you are not certain, get it checked by an expert.

When I start up the computer a box appears saying "Launcher has stopped working" I assume this would be Microsoft Launcher, what does this do?

The only applications that Microsoft call Launcher are for very high end developer software. If you are not running such software I would still suspect a virus.
Does Windows start normally? or is there always this message? If so it sounds like a problem.
