Hi all, I posted a snow scene of my village on the outskirts of Leeds on Peedee`s Topic... `Snow Pics - put here` along with quite a few other members.
Fiona said I should submit the pic to our local BBC weather presenter, so there I am sat in front of the box at 6.55pm to see if the pic would be shown, well it was rather a snowy day and Paul Hudson must have had hundreds of pics submitted, he showed about 8 all delightful scenes but alas not mine... well back to the day job I thought.
Days later...... whilst chatting to a neighbour today, she said Oh I saw your pic of Calverley Church on TV the other evening... well you could have knocked me over with a snow flake.. `though it was quite nice, where did you take it from` this lady has lived in our village for over 40 year and couldn't`t place where I took the shot from.
So spirits lifted.. leaving the day job behind and concentrating on been retired
So for those who missed BBC`s Look North weather pics here`s the one I missed also
