We'd like to visit the bulb fields this year as our 1st continental outing - so you experts:

a. Whats the best time to go ??

b. Any suggestions for sites to use - we like full EHU, Hardstanding etc -so no muddy fields or wild camping -thanks ??

Hi Harry

No experts, but >> this site << will probably tell you all you need to know.

Don't miss Keukenhof Gardens whatever you do, but also don't ignore the many smaller garden centres dotted around, many of which have excellent displays.

The surrounding countryside is pretty spectacular too, so consider a day or two of mooching around in the van. As I recall (before van days so get other opinions) the roads were no problem.

Have a browse - there's loads on the web, and some stunning photographs to get your enthusiasm going!!

We went mid end of April and stayed at >this site< which we found very handy. Probably best to find out when the tulip parade is and time a visit to coincide with that.
