Just thought i would pass on a bit of information about travel insurance. My wife suffered a stroke in september last year. She is now on DLA & i get Carers Allowance. We have booked ferry for 3 week holiday in June & then started looking for travel insurance. Some of the prices quoted were horrendous. I then found a company called COLUMBUS. They have covered both of us including my wifes Stroke for just under 50 quid. All done & paid for online. No messing about with phone calls.

Hi Spire.
Just had a look but I can't find any section to list specific medical conditions. The only section I could find has medical conditions I have never heard of let alone pronounce How did you make them aware of your wifes stroke ?

When you go on site click on Pre existing medical conditions on left hand side. Fillin dates & a price will come up. When you fill in personal details there is an option to add the condition. Couple of questions to answer then as you proceed a box will come up where you can put in the condition. a stroke is sometimes referred to as Cebrovascular Accident. Hope this helps
