I am very pleased to say that after a year of discussions with the organisers of this they have now agreed that motorhomes that are for disabled or have a disabled occupant can park up overnight provided they are self sufficient. I think we will be stuck in a corner somewhere! We used to go when there was a very expensive site near by at the racing track but this year it has moved to Peterborough Showground and I made the point that several hundred motorhomes parked in the disabled section for the motorhome shows and therefore a) motorhomes could be accomodated on the showground and b) there were lots of potential customers there.

So now its in place we need a good showing of people and to show them how very pleased we are at the availablility. Its by far the best show for looking at cars on the mobility schemes. As oours comes to the end of its 5 year lease this winter we will be looking at all WAV's!

Nice work! Not sure I will overnight, it is an easy days drive for us. However a note on the Road Show says you have to let them know in advance. quote:

"Motorhomes (on-site)
Visitors with self-sufficient motorhomes will be able to stay over-night in a nominated area of the Visitors' Car Park (no power or water will be available). Please advise the Organisers in advance - email info@mobilityroadshow.co.uk This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or telephone 0845 241 0390."

Yes thats absolutely right you do have to let them know in advance I forgot to mention that, and also where to find the details on the site but you have found your way through. Well done. It comes under the accomodation section.

I think they will feel their way through this year and see what the implications to them are. Thats of course if it stays for a few years at the showground. It has moved home several times!

Yes it has. It regularly used to be at the Department of Transports testing facilities at Bracknell. I thought the main reason for moving it around was to be fair to those living far away. It has since had many different venues over the last few years, even one near Glasgow and I think this may well continue.
