Has anyone got one of these little camera printers? Are they any good?

Prices seem to have dropped considerably, you can get one now for about £25 inc del and £11 for a 70 pack of paper.

Might come in handy in the van to print off the odd piccy from my camera and stick it somewhere Rolling Eyes

I'd be interested in your opinions either way, or if there is a better alternative for the van before I get one...

Pete

Hi Pete
I have one of these printers and am pleased with it, they are very simple to use, you can print from your phone via bluetooth, or from a camera with a usb cable. Dont expect outstanding quality prints, this is something of a novelty item rather than a serious printer. The prints are 2" X 3" and you can peel the backing off to make them into stickers if you want to. The printing process takes about one minute per print, it has a built in rechargeable battery that will give you about ten prints between charges but the print quality fades as the battery loses power. It's a nice little fun gadget, my kids love it and the sticky back prints can have some novel uses. I have just ordered one for a friend, from misco £19,99 inc vat +p&p Polaroid also make a camera with the printer built in.

Regards.....Mick (gadget head)

Thanks Mick;

I've ordered one, can't really go wrong at the price, prints work out just under 8p each. Smile

I use an earlier version of the one in the link below. The print quality is excellent and the paper stock is formated on the back as a postcard.

Easy to use. Print from memory card, direct from camera (if your camera can do that) or connect to computer.

I use one of these as well - I print my own postcards to send, at least I get to send a decent picture that way.

The great thing about the pogo is that it uses zink technology, zero ink! the ink/dye/whatever is impregnated into the paper, the printer itself heats the paper to bring out the specific colours. clever stuff.

Well, my PoGo arrived yesterday and its a nicely made bit of kit, especially for the price.
Might have overdone it last night though, theres little photo's stuck all over the place. Laughing
Due to its compact size I can see it being handy to use while away in the motorhome which is mainly why we bought it in the first place.

Pete
