I recently visited >this site< for information and I think it is worth pointing out a few items I noticed on the site.

On the home page there is a request from the web master for information on the reception of Freeview, members might like to contribute. These reception reports are displayed >here<

On this page there is also a description of 'Freeview Lite' which I was not aware of. This reduced service may influence some to review their reception methods?

Finally found the reference to "Freeview Lite". Not an official term and certainly not one that is used by Freeview. What it refers to is the 7.5% of the population who will only be within range of a Transmitter Relay. Due to power and bandwdth restrictions with relays they will only transmit the Public Sector Broadcasting muxes and therefore only about 18 channels. The possible benefit is that most of the crud does not transmit on these muxes and therefore you imediately eliminate these.
This still means that 98.5% of the population will still be able to receive the TV channels viewed for over 90%of the time through their aerials.
